Your first appointment includes a discussion about your health history, concerns, and goals. During the treatment, gentle Bowen moves are applied at specific points on the body, with short pauses between sets of moves to allow your body time to respond. Sessions are deeply relaxing, and many clients feel calm and rested afterwards.

Bowen Therapy can be performed through light, comfortable clothing or directly on the skin. If treatment is performed on the skin, you will remain appropriately draped throughout the session for your comfort and privacy. Loose-fitting clothing is recommended.

Water: Drink plenty of water, the fascia responds better if it is hydrated.
Walk: Don’t stay sedentary for too long. If you are sitting for prolonged periods of time, go for a short walk every half hr.
Wait: A Bowen session can take up to 10 days to fully integrate. It is recommended to not get any other treatments in this time.
